Finally, met up with Nasz since he came back from KL last tues. Picked him up from his place and we headed for lunch. Of all places, I dragged him to NIE canteen to have the western food! haha Actually, I needed to collect my english assignments and also, we were already at jurong west area, so why not right eat there? Too bad they ran out of fish and chips, thus we settled for chicken chop and sphagetti.
.
Earlier on, in the car before moving off to NIE, he gave me some souvenirs from KL. Peeked into the paper bag and I saw a pink long sleeved top and a bag. Make a guess what bag?.....It's a Coach patchwork bag of course. He bought it from petaling street. I guess the expression on my face said it all when I saw the bag. I didn't look excited or thrilled. Sorry b, I tried hard to conceal those feelings but you knew me so well. Why did I feel that way? I have to be honest. The fact that I know its not a authentic one is the reason. Those who know me really well will know how I'm like, so I don't think I owe anyone any explanation.
.
Nasz was perfectly fine when he found out I might not use the bag; he assured me that. But, I'm very guilty conscious. Not that I did not appreaciate his kind gesture to buy me that bag, in fact I was truly touched that he remembered I've been eyeing the patchwork design fr Coach. But one question which I asked him made me feel like slapping myself hard in the face. I asked: "When you saw the bag and wanted to buy it for me, did you think that I'm really gonna like it?" He answered "yes". There you go, how can I not want to smack myself? haiz Tell me about it, I'm disappointed with myself. Like I say, he was really ok about the whole thing..surprisingly.
.
Well, moving on. After our late lunch, we headed to town to catch a movie. Parked the car at far east and we walked to cineleisure. We watched 'trust the man' starring david duchovny and julianne moore. A pretty good movie if you don't know what other movies to watch..hehe
.
Walked around town for a while and had dinner at delifrance. I got the choc fudge dessert which I've been craving. Later, Nasz suggested that we go to Jurong Hill cos according to him, the scenery is really nice from up there. In the first place, I didnt even know Jurong Hill existed. Anw, I agreed to check out the place since he's the one driving.
.
Reached there after going up a steep slope road. True indeed, as I looked down, all I see were buildings surrounded by orange lights. You know, like those scenary when you look down from the airplane and see tiny buildings at night? It's like that la..haha not sure if thats a good visualization.
.
As much as I wanted to end our date perfectly by admiring the full moon together (haha!), something unplesant happened as we were heading back to the car. I had a nasty fall and sprained my right ankle la! Damn the small step which I missed! Never had I had such a bad fall before, not even while playing netball last time. I remained in my fallen position for abt a minute cos the pain was really bad. Nasz was in total shock..haha Like it happened so fast and he didnt expect me not to see that small step. I felt like crying man. I limped towards the car where he helped me massage my ankle. I was practically screaming already and he just asked me to
tahan the pain. Of course, I'm so
lembik mah, cant tahan the pain. The incident spoilt my mood for the rest of the day. It didnt help when I have to drive myself back home from Jurong!! Just had to bear with the pain while shifting my foot between the brake and accelerator pedal. Tried to use my left foot to depress the brake pedal but i'm not used to it. So no choice, everytime have to change footwork, my face cramp already.
.
Here's my swollen ankle which I hope will be ok soon:

p/s: Sorry girls we have to postpone our karaoke session. This was really unexpected! And b, thanks for promptly buying me the tiger balm. It really helps!
